What technology do you use to encode the videos? ffmpeg?

Hello

I'm totally looking forward to your community edition and I'm looking in to whether I'll be able to run it on my shared hosting server. Do you use ffmpeg to do the encoding or have you developed something in house?

Thanks!

Quoting the wiki...

For additional features we use other open source components such as ffMpeg and Red5. Our solution does NOT require any proprietary 3rd party software (such as Adobe’s FMS or ON2’s SDK), but it might make use of such components as alternatives.
