wma files??

Postby kpm on Thu Apr 16, 2009 5:41 am

I just attempted to upload a file that (unfortunately) was a .wma file. But the uploader wouldn't allow it. However, it would allow a .wmv file...

Is this an issue with the configuration, or is it to do with the legalities of proprietary file formats??

Thanks

just a configuration issue with the instance of contribution wizard you are using.
what is your deployment? (are you using a plugin like wordpress or drupal plugin or your own development, in that case - what is the kcw widget id ?)

Yes, I am using the Drupal Kaltura module... I've added the wma extension to the content type, but it still wouldn't allow the upload of that content type. So, I used Switch to convert the media to mp3 and uploaded it that way. I avoid Windows media file types like the plague, but every so often, I have to deal with one and figured Kaltura would do the conversion.
